Isn't it strange when someone you know is just like Nancy, at least in some ways, we hope not in all ways? I seem to recognize Nancy in many of those I know. How about you? What traits of Nancy's do you see in people you know?

Please join the discussion of Nancy's Mental State

When I wrote the character of Nancy, I exaggerated many of her traits and mannerisms. Which clued you into her mental state and why? What about her personality intrigued you and which repulsed you?

but first you need to read the book.

Why did I write The Swirling Red Mist: A Tale of Murder?

I was recovering from chemotherapy after a lost a breast to cancer when my dear friend Joni (aka Joan Leslie Woodruff) sent me a book she wrote for Christmas that year. "Mind Games" changed my life as it used writing as therapy. I decided I wanted to write a book. My first idea was that I would write a fantasy perfect life for myself where I had everything I wanted and nothing bad happened. But, that was soon as boring to me as it would have been to any reader so I Googled 'how to write a book' and my story changed to a thriller. After 5 years, finished and published, it was an adventure like no other.

The Swirling Red Mist: A Tale of Murder

Welcome to my blog. I am the author of an exciting thriller suspense novel that is getting great reviews! It is about a young woman with mental problems attempting to fit in but finds obstacles and annoyances in her way. As a sociopath/psychopath she easily eliminates those in her way with a joyful laugh singing her favorite post murder song. You may think the premise sounds dark and sinister, but I wrote it in a light tone and kept the gore to a minimum. Readers all enjoy it! Please order yours today! And order copies for your friends who are fans of thriller suspense murder novels. It is available in paperback and ebook at: https://www.amazon.com/dp/9563981847 .
